At Woodlands, we are proud to offer a cinema room as one of our facilities for residents to use. As well as the huge range of movies we have on offer, we also provide our residents with snacks and drinks to enjoy whilst they relax with other residents, their friends and loved ones.

As part of our person-focused care approach, we think it is extremely important to give residents a space where they can relax and unwind. We accommodate everybody with our movie range and also collaborate closely with our residents by taking suggestions about what they would like us to include in their cinema room. The room is decorated with film artwork on the walls and tables where they can store their refreshments.

A-Z Film Collections

It is vital to us that we have something for everybody to enjoy at Woodlands, and this is reflected in the movie choices we offer to our residents. From older movies, to black-and-white classic movies, to every type of genre, we will always have something to spike the interest of our residents. Our team work hard to regularly update our movie selection so that even our most regular visitors will never get bored. It is also a brilliant way to reminisce with friends and loved ones, or to come for a quiet experience by yourself; all are welcome.

Sometimes, nothing can beat the experience of watching a story told through a movie. In our cinema, we have all of the amenities that make this possible. Coming to the cinema can boost well-being and allow somebody to completely unwind for a few hours, something that is extremely important during daily life. All of our facilities at Woodlands are perfectly tailored to our residents and offer the perfect amount of physical activity and downtime.

Cinema Room FAQs

Our cinema room has been designed to provide residents with the full cinema experience at Woodlands. The cinema offers a large screen, comfortable seating and cinema-style snacks with lots of film titles to choose from on a daily basis.

Residents are welcome to use our cinema room as part of their weekly fee. Relatives can also join residents in using the cinema room, and if requested, we can arrange for residents to enjoy private viewings with loved ones.

We are pleased to offer a variety of film titles and we work closely with residents to learn about their favourite films so that we can ensure to include something for everyone. Occasionally, we also show televised events such as sports and national celebrations.
